Mental Wellness Ministry

The Christ The King Mental Wellness Ministry is dedicated to the prayerful support of those going through mental wellness challenges and their loved ones. The Ministry meets once a month on Saturdays from 11:00AM to 1:00PM in the Stable at Christ the King. The meetings begin with prayers, followed by an informational video or a speaker, and ending with discussion/fellowship over a brown bag lunch that each participant will bring for themselves (the Ministry will provide water and dessert). Participation in the discussion is entirely optional and each meeting will begin with a reminder that anything discussed during that time is to remain confidential. Please keep in mind that the Ministry is not counseling and does not seek to replace in any way the services of mental wellness professionals.

Please join us on Saturday, August 22nd, 11:00 am to 1:00 pm in The Stable (parish center) for our CTK Mental Wellness Ministry Meeting. Bring a brown bag lunch; drinks will be provided. We begin with prayer and then focus on our topic for the meeting, which for this month is suicide. We will present two short videos which are meant solely as an introduction to the topic and future sessions will delve deeper. Following the video presentation, participants will have the opportunity to share their perspectives and comments over lunch. This group is for those with the lived experience and for those that love and support them. You are not alone.

All are welcome! Please know we will start and end on time each meeting.
