The Christ The King Mental Wellness Ministry is dedicated to the prayerful support of those going through mental wellness challenges and their loved ones. The Ministry meets once a month on Saturdays from 11:00AM to 1:00PM in the Stable at Christ the King. The meetings begin with prayers, followed by an informational video or a speaker, and ending with discussion/fellowship over a brown bag lunch that each participant will bring for themselves (the Ministry will provide water and dessert). Participation in the discussion is entirely optional and each meeting will begin with a reminder that anything discussed during that time is to remain confidential. Please keep in mind that the Ministry is not counseling and does not seek to replace in any way the services of mental wellness professionals.
Please join us for our next Saturday, July 25th 11:00 am-1:00 pm in the Stable. Be sure to bring a brown bag lunch; drinks and dessert will be provided. Please know we will start and end on time each meeting.
This month we have invited Dr. Erika Lair, Doctor of Physical Therapy, to discuss the relationship between exercise and mental health. Erika will join us for lunch so she can answer questions from all participants.
This group is for those with the lived experience and for those that love and support them. You are not alone. All are welcome!
